SHALLOW DRAFT FREEDOM, DEEP DRAFT PERFORMANCE

A prime example of the Southerly 38, built here at the Northshore Shipyard in 2011. This yacht has been well cared for and maintained and her condition is a credit to the owners.

The interior space below decks is impressive when comparing to other yachts of a similar size and needs to be seen to be believed. The large aft cabin with ensuite is very much a home from home. The aft cockpit is well laid out, giving safe seating when sailing and is perfect for after sailing social and dining activities.

The Southerly 38 has the world renowned Swing Keel system which can be raised and lowered at the touch of a button. You will be able to explore rivers and anchorages where a standard fixed fin keel yacht dare not go, as with the keel raised the Southerly 38 needs less than 3 feet of water to float. She will also dry out upright on the cast iron ground plate, ideal for family picnics on the beach!

The owners have recently carried out extensive upgrades to the electronics, rigging and engineering equipment. But due to other commitments have not been able to make full use of the yacht, and enjoy sailing her, since the works were carried out.

We would highly recommend an viewing of this wonderful yacht.
